Planning to dance the night away? Miranda Kerr channels a prima ballerina

Orlando Bloom recently described his wife Miranda Kerr as his 'lioness.'

But she looked more like a prima ballerina as she arrived at the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty Costume Institute Gala in New York City this evening.

With her brown hair pulled back into a neat chignon, the 28-year-old Victoria's Secret model resembled a cast member for the ballet Swan Lake in a white strapless tulle and lace creation which flared outwards at the waist.

A matching jewelled purse and ornate laced shoes completed her look.
They couple seemed happy and relaxed as they posed for photographs on the red carpet.

Perhaps they were looking forward to a night off from looking after their baby son Flynn who was born in January.

Miranda has already returned to work as a model, much to the surprise of her husband.

'She is a little insane,' he recently told Ellen DeGeneres. 'She’s of her own mind.'
He also paid tribute to the model's svelte appearance following the birth of Flynn.

'It’s genetics. It’s amazing,' he said. 'She looks incredible, a lot of breast-feeding.'

Meanwhile, the 34-year-old star is also returning to work after a four year break from the big screen.

He stars alongside Mark Ruffalo and Laura Linney in Sympathy for Delicious.

The film is about an actor who lost the use of his legs after a rock-climbing accident, in which Orlando plays a potty-mouthed punk rocker appropriately called, The Stain.

Jennifer Aniston & Orlando Bloom Flirt Up Mexico: The Real Story

Okay so what exactly are Jennifer Aniston and Orlando Bloom doing hanging out is swimsuits south of the border? Life & Style Weekly reports this week that The actors were at the One & Only Palmilla resort for the Sept. 29 nuptials of a colleague of their mutual manager, Aleen Keshishan. (Natalie Portman, Laura Linney and Orlando's ex Kate Bosworth also attended.) "Orlando didn't even know Jennifer was going to be there," says a friend of Jen's.

But that didn't matter. Jen, 38, and Orlando, 30, who met when Orlando filmed Troy with Jen's ex, Brad Pitt, and reportedly went on a group date to LA's Sunset Tower Hotel last March, immediately reconnected, the weekly magazine reports.

"When they got down to Mexico, they just gravitated to each other," says the friend. "They sat next to each other for both the rehearsal dinner and the actual ceremony." Their reps insist the two are just friends, but according to the friend, things got even more intense at the reception, where Jennifer and Orlando danced, drank champagne and whispered in each other's ears.

"Their super-flirty behavior surprised some of the other guests, but they didn't look like they cared who was watching because they were so into each other," says the friend.

The story from Life & Style also notes that they were also pleasantly surprised by how much they had to talk about, from decorating - Jen's renovating her new home in Beverly Hills, while Orlando just finished work on his houses in London and Hollywood - to their love of theater, adds the friend. "They had a great time."

And the fun didn't end with the cutting of the cake. The following day, they sunbathed together, and Jen even offered Orlando a ride back to LA - on her private jet!
