Shahid finds solace in Genelia after break up

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor seems to be feeling lonely like never before after the break up with Priyanka Chopra. It is said that he is trying to forget the bitter past and move on by hanging out with his close friend. And the friend happens to be Genelia D’Souza, who was linked to him in the past.

Yes, news is doing the rounds that Shahid has found solace in Genelia’s company after reportedly parting ways with Priyanka. It is said that he is spending a lot of time with her of late, trying to come to terms with the break up.

It may be recalled that Shahid was earlier linked to Genelia before getting close to Priyanka. However, they are just friends like they have always said. This time around, his good friend has come to his rescue.

Well, Shahid and Genelia are living the old adage ‘A friend in need is a friend indeed’!

Sonam kapoor has been hospitalized

Name and fame don’t come easy. One has to pay a heavy price for it. Many Bollywood actresses from Katrina Kaif to Kareena Kapoor to Priyanka Chopra had fainted on the sets of their films in the past due to exhaustion. The latest to face health scare due to over work is none other than actress Sonam Kapoor.

The news is doing the rounds that Sonam was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai yesterday after she felt weak due to acute exhaustion. She has been travelling from one place to another shooting for her films Mausam and Players. Adding to her woes, she has to promote her forthcoming film Thank You aggressively. This seems to have affected her health.

Well, someone should remind the actress of the old idiom ‘Health is wealth’. We at One india wish her speedy recovery!

Katrina Kaif 'Disturbed' By Tax Raid

Katrina Kaif has slammed reports she is under investigation for tax evasion, insisting she is "disturbed" by the accusations.

The Indian star hit the headlines earlier this week (begs24Jan11) after representatives for the country's tax authorities confirmed officials had raided the offices and homes of Kaif and her peer Priyanka Chopra, in addition to a number of other top Bollywood names.

Tax department director-general D.P. Gaur confirmed on Monday (24Jan11) that properties belonging to the actresses were "being searched and whatever materials are procured will be recorded for further action", but refused to go into further detail.

However, a "disturbed" Kaif has hit out at the claims and she is adamant all her tax payments are up-to-date.

A statement issued by her accountants adds: "Katrina is fully co-operating with the (tax) department, whom she holds in high regard."

Kaif is said to earn $670,000 (£446,670) per film.

Diamond belly button for Priyanka Chopra

Rumourmongers were having hay day speculating on why Priyanka Chopra looked so happy on her birthday in spite of the absence of her boyfriend (just good friend) Shahid Kapoor. Priyanka did have a reason to smile. She received a surprise special gift from her parents. Believe it or not, she was gifted a diamond belly button.

“Hey tweeple got some rocking news.. My parents got me a diamond belly button ring for my b’day.. Guess what? just got my piercing done! Yay!” posted Priyanka, a regular on Twitter.

It is said that Priyanka couldn't believe her eyes when her parents gifted her a butterfly-shaped diamond belly button on her birthday, on 18th July, because she never expected such a gift. Sources said that Priyanka had pierced her belly earlier and used to wear belly button until she was forced to part with it following the demand of her film roles.

Well, Priyanka must be looking forward to show off her diamond-studded-belly the next time she appears in public. She also has a lot to look forward to this year with many promising projects in her kitty. Her film Kaminey, where she acts with Shahid Kapoor, is releasing this August and What's Your Raashee with Hurman Baweja is scheduled for release in September. She also has another film titled Pyaar Impossible with Uday Chopra.
